getting OHIP for gyno removal

hey everybody, new member here. I am very hopeful after finding this site to finally get my pubescent gyno taken care of! I just got back from my gp, and she told me that ohip will not cover ANY cost of the surgery because there is no chance it is cancerous. I have two quarter sized lumps under both nipples, and they are puffy. They constantly are in pain, and leak a white clear substance. I never go swimming because of it, and its causing me servere psychological pain. I am 21, and called around my toronto area, only to be told $5600 for this surgery which I cannot afford. Someone please help!

You should ask to get a referral for a specialist. If you require lipo that is not included in the coverage. But if its just breast tissue then it should be
I had mine done by dr fielding, lipo plus removal and it was 3200, (sept 2012). He's in the Toronto area and your consulatation is covered by ohip if you have a referral
