Desk job,how much time off work to be expected?

I' just got approved by medicard  

Started a new job in a office however I am wondering about time off post surgery.

I have puffy nips and some fat,I would say its not severe but definitely gyno.

My question if I get surgery on a Thursday and I am gonna be okay to go back to work on Monday?

Also I have recently dropped 30lbs still have another 20 to go...do you know how long before I can at least do moderate cardio and weights?

It depends on the surgeon and his technique, the extent of the surgery, whether drains are used or not and how you react to the surgery and the anesthesia.

For many patients, taking a week off after surgery is about normal.

Most of my average patients can have surgery on a Thursday and be back to a desk job on Monday.

I do most of my procedures on Fridays, and the patients are able to return to non-strenuous jobs, such as desk jobs, by Monday.

As Dr. Jacobs pointed out, recovery will vary depending on the surgeons techniques.

As far as getting back to work it depends on the exact nature of your work. In my patients 1 out of 4 return to work the day after surgery,while 3 out of four take the day after surgery off and return the following day.Exceptions to the rule, off the top of my head, include 1) professional athletes 2)active military and 3)individuals in law enforcement.
