Hi everyone
I am a 24 yrs old and hv this gyno problem since my teenage.
In 2010 I got jaundice and then my hep b carried.

My Dr. Says u are an inactive hep b carrier and as good as anyone else just  that I hv to be careful
That I don't pass it to someone.

I want to know if it will be safe for me to go for a surgery

Hope to get some expert opinion

You should be acceptable for surgery provided that your liver function tests are normal and that you are cleared for surgery by your physician.

You should definitely inform your surgeon, though -- he must be aware of your status prior to surgery.

Agree with Dr Jacobs,essentially you will need a physical and appropriate labs before surgery. It is important to communicate your medical history to your surgeon so that he/she can coordinate the preoperative management with your internist.
