I'm 23 years old, 5'5 about 165lbs with a stocky build but not much fat. I've been working out on and off for years now but can't ever seem to get a normal looking chest. I think it may be because I may have gyno.

Now men, take notice, this young man HAS TRUE GYNECOMASTIA ! You don't need a magnifying glass to see that he has it!

I'm sorry to say what I said, but we have many posters that you do need a magnifying glass to see any problems!

You must have been able to handle things well if you are only looking into this now. I was your size for years and only got bigger as time went on, but that was do to health problems, so don't worry that isn't going to happen to you! I had it all my life as well and at 56 I've learned to live with it.

You can get surgery if you so desire, and you can get all the advice you need right here on the forum. As well as find a very good doctor recommendation.

BTW, welcome to the forum!

Yes, you have gynecomastia.  Welcome to the best forum on the web to ask questions and get sincere answers from fellows who share your problem.

You would definitely need surgery to treat your gyne.  Best advice is to carefully research gyne surgery specialists in your area -- and if possible, visit several in order to get various opinions.  What not to do:  decide on your surgeon based on price.  Remember, good results will last a lifetime, and long after the fee is forgotten.  Bad results may require additional revision surgery at additional cost -- and it is always a game of "catch up."

Once again, welcome to the forum!

The doc is right! This is not the time to look for the low bid, it's the time to look for the most experience and the doctor that will give you the best results! This is your body here not a bathroom remodeling job that you can just redu in a few days!

So take your time, look very close at the doctors that best suit your needs.

Good luck!

'diet aid of questionable value' is a sham and will only empty your wallet and have no effect on your gyne.

If you cannot afford surgery, then your best alternative is to invest in a few firm compression shirts to give you a better shape.

Right, first Answer on your post was: "Get a doctor and get rid of them!"
But...you can live with them too, no cuts, no costs. Just a happy life.
