I need advice. I am at my wits end. My surgery has destroyed my quality of worklife. Surgery done on 2/5/15. In May I finally had a mammogram done to see if there was anything else going on. Radiologist said it was edema and an antibiotic should clear it. It did not. I am in such pain I cannot put on a shirt, I cannot hug people and I cannot exercise my chest in any way. Also my left breast is slightly larger than my right. There is an extreme feeling of tightness between the breasts. Can anyone help me? What should I do?

Yours is a most unusual story and the first thing I would do is to return to your surgeon.  Edema at five months is unusual and infections at five months are even more unusual.  Taking antibiotics for edema doesn't make medical sense.

Return to your surgeon to discuss.
