I know it's a long shot and everyone has their own story and their own troubles, but you all know this surgery is expensive.  Those of you who have had it know that it will change your life.  Please consider a donation at my GoFundMe.com page: http://www.gofundme.com/a25d8huuc
Best of luck to all of you.

There is another way to get the surgery done! I know that this has worked for many of the other guys on this forum.

Get a job, if you don't already have one, save your money and pay for it yourself! You know, there is much more pride in things that you can tackle on your own and then you don't owe anyone anything!

Now don't get me wrong here I'm a big believer in tithing, but this would not qualify.

Good luck

I do think insurance should cover it but thats another story, i agree with Hammer here, do not rely on donations because reaching something like 6k is not realistic IMO. Ask yourself what you can do to get the money and get it done yourself.

Most banks will not provide a loan to you for elective surgery.  But Care Credit, a company that I work with, will do just that.  However, you will need a steady job and some credit.  If you don't have significant credit, perhaps you can get a family member to co-sign the loan with you.  Payments can be as low as $119/month.

Just a thought.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime. +1 on what Hammer already stated. Get a job and you'll be set for life.
