Areola started scabbing, now very pink skin 19 days post op. PICS

[font="Open Sans", sans-serif]So I had my surgery on 19 days ago and I have some slight concerns.[/font][/color]

[font="Open Sans", sans-serif]One of my nipples seems to be healing just fine, however the right one started scabbing about day 3 and they proceeded to fall off on day 14. What I was left with was very very pink skin with obviously not the same colour as the rest of my areola.[/font][/color]
[font="Open Sans", sans-serif]There also appears to be no tip(?)[/font][/color]

Looks like you had a very little bit of superficial skin loss. I would anticipate a full recovery though it is possible that there could continue to be a slight asymmetry when healing is complete. If so I suspect it will very minor. Continue to follow your surgeon's directions and you should be fine.

Slight scabbing on areola , typically not an issue with time.By this I mean it should improve without the need for any significant intervention.

This can happen on occasion and you should heal quite well.  Usually the color returns but it is slow -- several months -- so be patient.
