Surgery in Nova Scotia

Has anyone had surgery in NS. I was referred to a general surgeon by my doc and said that the provincial health care will cover the cost but with a general surgeon. Im wondering what surgeons are around and if anyone has gotten this done by a general surgeon and if they can send me to a plastic surgeon.
