Just tell me why

OK So I've had pubertal gynecomastia (95% sure It's gyno) for four years now. Not severe gyno, just puffy areolas. (REALLY puffy). Yes I do have fat (Not so high but quite a lot). I've read that gyno that started in puberty usually goes away on its own within two years. I dont think it will go away anymore since I've had it for 4 (either way more than 3) years.  I have no hopes and this made my life a mess, but whatever. JUST TELL ME WHY.
If it goes on its own, WHYam I special, WHY Didn't it go. WHAT HAVE I DONE WRONG. What may be possible cause. Any opinions welcome. Just tell me WHY

I can't tell you why it is you, but it is not only you! I know that doesn't make it any easier, but you're not alone in this!
Are you on any type of medications? There are a lot of them that will will cause gynecomastia, if not the first place to start is with your doctor, because you are right, if it hasn't gone down it 4 years it most likely will not.

I'm sorry about the bad news, but I would still welcome you to the forum.
