a procedure too good to be true ?

What do yo think of his procedure.... he is on tv all the time for it... gives seminars on it.... and is a leader in the industry for people with gynecomastia....

The only incision is under the arm pit in which he inserts micro-small cannulas to break up the gland, then laser to for liposuction... says you can be back to excersize after 1-2 days...  and that the scar is the size of a grain of rice....

I am about an hour away from san diego, I am considering this.

Seems fine. The only thing I would worry about is glandular tissue. He says he can get it with liposuction, but that is very hard. I had a liposuction operation almost a year ago and it did not get the gland. It was the newer vasor lipo that the doc said was powerful enough to get the gland...Well, it did not. The only person I know of that is able to get gland with a cannula is Doctor Hamas. He's the guy who invented the "sharp cannula" that is able to cut through the gland. He goes through the armpit I believe and has a great success rate, but he's in TX.

I'd say go look at some before/after pictures. Ask him specifically how he gets the gland with a cannula, when you've heard that excision is the only way. Then post those answers on here and you'll get the feedback you need.

But I would go to an unknown doctor if they were recommended by someone I trusted.

I have NEVER gone to a professional of any kind who advertized on TV.  Nor do I ever expect to do so.

Good professionals have waiting lists, they have no need to advertize their services.
