Ok, I've never posted before, but I've read GOD KNOWS how many threads on this site, and one trend that I see is people claiming no hope in Andractim or even claiming that the All Saints site is a hoax.  Well guess what!? Sir Puffs-a-lot is here to say just one word to all you haters:  WRONG. I've had glandular gyne for about 6 years now, since I was 14.  I've never had a weight problem, 5'11", 155, but my nipples stuck out like mad, making tight wife beaters underneath and slouching my areas of expertise. I never realized how much of a problem it was though until the last year. My parents kinda understood, but didn't seem too concerned. They helped me get two doctor's appointments, but  the regular doctor and endocrinologist that I visited were even less tactful.  Haha, one of 'em even said, "Well, you know what they say about guys with big nipples? They have 12 inch d**ks!" Needless to say, I wasn't amused...I even asked the endocrinologist to look into andractim for me because he had never heard of it, and he just blew me off. SO, I decided it was my life and I had to be a man and take things into my own f**king hands. I had read everything on this board about andractim and was aware (and you guys should be too) that ANDRACTIM ONLY COMPLETELY WORKS FOR 1 IN 4 MEN WITH GYNE. I can't stress that enough. I also knew that the odds were better for resolution if the gyne was a recent development as opposed to a 6 year thing like mine. However, I had the dough and the determination, so I ordered the andractim online from All Saints (I know there's a lot of controversy over the site, but it IS legit, and NO, this is not a sales pitch, if you can get andractim free from your doc., I would recommend that any day over the 194$ from the All Saints site).  That was about a month ago. I've been using the andractim METICULOUSLY for almost 4 weeks now, and I have to say that I am incredibly happy with the results so far. If you see no results for even the first 3 weeks, DO NOT QUIT. I saw no real results until just this last week. I could feel the gland softening, but not really getting smaller. Then, I remembered I read something about how gyne becomes tougher to get rid of after several years, and some people had been questioning the method of andractim application, like rubbing it in or letting it sit. So I decided that if I REALLY rubbed the gel in good, with rubber gloves (I know, sounds stupid...) that it might better get to the gland and break it up. HOLY COW, BEST IDEA I EVER HAD. I've been doing that for the last week or so, and there is a HUGE difference in physical appearance now. I don't expect the nipples to ever completely lie flat against my chest, I don't care about that. I'm just glad my bi**h breasts are almost gone. I'm also working out like a MADMAN right now, and let me tell you, that helps your self-esteem something fierce. So in conclusion, if surgery is not an option right now, or ever, Andractim IS a possible solution to some of you, my brothers, out there. REMEMBER, it is pretty expensive, and NO, it doesn't work for everyone, but this kid is living proof that it CAN work with meticulous determination and some ingenuity. I don't have any before pics, so you'll have to take my word for the before, but I will definitly post some progression pics from here on out, just give me a holler. Feel free to ask any questions, I'll try to check this post as often as possible. Best of luck to you guys, DON'T GIVE UP. Keep trying everything, but one of the most important elements is working out. You will feel like a f**king PIMP once you start to bulk up, and you can actually wear regular shirts and stand up straight after a while. Talk to you guys soon- J.

Andractim can and does work for some men- no doubt about it.

I have had surgery because my gynecomastia was significant and some of it long standing.  However I was prescribed Andractim as an alternative to testosterone for my hypogonadism and it did shrink the gynecomastia quite considerably.

It did not resolve the gynecomastia in my case and in fact my gynecomastia got worse after the improvements (due to my hormone problem- not the medication).  But that was just me.

What people need to understand is this;

Just because Andractim works for you does not mean it is the REAL DEAL and works for everyone.  Likewise just because Andractim doesn't work for you does not make it snake oil and mean it wont work for others.

The controlled clinical trials as detailed in The New England Journal of Medicine showed that 75% of men had reduction in breast tissue volume and that 25% of those saw a complete response.

Of course this meant that 25% of men saw little/to no improvement at all.

So it is no wonder drug, but it certainly can work for some men.

Which presumably is why it is made by a major pharmaceutical company (Besins International), and why it is a licensed treatment for hypogonadism and gynecomastia in many European countries.

Some of my good buddies would joke around about how I had "dinner plate nipples"   :), but I would say when I felt them in their entireity they were like the size of an oreo, spread out toward the armpit as well. Pretty significant for a 9-10% bf guy. Now, the entire gland is VERY soft, and I would say like about HALF is gone, very happy! I have been working out for a while, but I REALLY started working out as soon as I took it. I read about the possible stretching of the areola due to so many years, so figured working out could help flatten it out. Thanks for the posts, J.

Is it licenced in the UK?

And if it is, does it mean i can go to my GP and get it on a NHS prescription?

It can be obtained via a private prescription, but only if your situation clearly warrants it.
Even then only from forward thinking endocrinologists/specialists just as Arimidex can.  You have no chance on the NHS and no chance with most private endocrinologists.

So yes and no in effect.

It is far more widely used in Belgium- not that- that helps.

Yo Hypo! Got a question for ya buddy: I'm half way done now, and was just wondering, what are my best chances of avoiding a recurrance of the tissue I've lost? I've already had two different hormonal tests, both of which claim I have a normal hormonal balance. Just thought you might have some tips for me; should I order a third tube, even if it doesn't reduce any more, just to make sure it doesn't come back? Thanks! - J.

I'm not into self medication so I can't tell you what to do.

However if you post me your hormonal test results and ranges I can give you the low down from a patients perspective who has seen hundrends of pathology reports...you may want that view...you may not  ::)

In a sense, yes it could potentially hurt. I think Hypo has mentioned before that if you have cancer in the breast area, it can speed up the growth, so a prostate test is a must. Other than that though, there is no real danger. I found another member who wrote this about andractim: "Andractim is DHT dihydrotestosterone.  It is an anti amomatasable androgen, meaning it cannot be converted to estrogen, unlike the bodies own natural production of testosterone.  This medication lowers estrogen levels and increases androgen levels via the endocrine system and also locally and antagonises estrogen receptors in the breast." Basically, Andractim will inhibit the production of estrogen in the body and prevent your breast tissue from recepting any remaining estrogen in the body. The side effects are minor, including fatigue, increased libido, increased erectile function, increased muscle strength. I am self medicating as of right now, and have been for a month. It's probably not the best way to go, but if you're considering it, I can say that I've seen no adverse effects other than the fact that I can lift more at the gym and can pop wood faster than a woodchuck could :) . Hope that helps answer your question, -J.

Ok, back to my progress...I think posted about it 4 days ago, so I'm through my first month now, and believe it or not, since then I've actually seen a little more reduction; a lot of the gland is gone now, like half or more, and the rest is very sensitive and mooshy. Physically, there's more progress as well, as they don't look nearly as puffy as they did when I started, and aren't really noticeable through a t-shirt anymore. Testing_Andractim, I don't know how long you've had gyne, but as soon as I started rubbing in the Andractim REALLY good, that's when I started seeing big results. I probably spend like 3-5 minutes on each side, REALLY massaging the gel in. I also don't miss any days, and keep a regular schedule. Again, I don't expect the nipple to lay completely flat once I'm done, but this is a HUGE difference, and one that I'm happy with so far. I'll update in about 3-5 days, GOOD LUCK MY BROS! - J.

The rubbing in of the gel thorougly is probably a good idea, i read on an old thread that you shouldn't rub it in much at all, but that really doesnt make much since if you think about it.  I will start to rub it in much more thorougly now that you mentioned you do it and you have seen results because of that.  Just curious, you do 1 spatula (2.5g) to each nipple once a day?  Thanks!

Yup, I use the directed amount of one spatula, or 2.5g per side, per day, so a total of 5g per day. I don't know if this is your case, but the 80g has lasted me MUCH longer than the 16 days it should have if I was applying 5g per day; I don't know if that means that you're supposed to just completely cover the whole spatula, but I've been just filling in the groove like it seems to indicate to do.  Either way, I just started my second tube, and like I said before have seen awesome results so far. Keep with it man, and let me know what you're seeing too; it really is encouraging to have another person going through the same thing. Talk to ya later bro, - J.

Ummm, you mean *liar*, right?? MAN, everybody wants instant gratification these days...listen, I'm not selling anything, so you don't have to worry about me trying to swindle anybody  ;D At this point, this is more for encouragement for those already on Andractim with me. This wasn't a planned diary, so I don't have any before pics with my shirt off; I think I already mentioned that...I just got tired of everybody claiming it NEVER worked, when I was seeing results, and still am. AGAIN, it only completely works for 25% of men. There will be no before/after pics, that's just the way it is, terribly sorry. I understand your situation...you don't know me, so why should you believe me? Best part is: you don't have to. To Testing_Andractim and Zippy, I'll keep you guys posted! Take care, -J.
