post-op showering

hey guys, my PS told me i could shower once 48 hour post-op have passed (which will be tomorrow night). Is it painful? Are there any precautions I should take? Is a bath a better idea?

Today was my 48 po and showering wasn't painful for me.  My incision sites were taped so it wasn't exposed and I tried best as possible not to drench the surgical sites with water.  I would not recommend taking a bath.

Yea, be gentle and not too aggressive. You'll be sore as heck, and it'll hurt taking off the compression vest/wraps if you have them. Also use some antibiotic soap and maybe some neosporin to help the healing/scars.

ok cool. I just took a bath but made sure not to get my nipples wet. Wednesday when I have the stitches removed my PS is giving me some scar cream that I'll begin using. I'm also wearing a compression vest + foam 24/7.
