Hello guys, I'm really inspired by your courage to post ur pics so I decided to post mine.

Well to start with, as for as i can remember I felt my chest looks different when I was still 8 or 9. I grew up chubby, which eventually when I turned to adloescence to obesity... My chest has been the source of ridicule then. I developed this fear of removing my top... to make things short those "shaming" experience tormented me...

Anyway, when I was in college, I decided to workout in the gym and lose weight... I did lose sufficient weight on all my body parts and some from my chest and reached my ideal weight but my chest still looks puffy similar to that of pre-pubescent girl... my areolas are puffed out.

The pictures I'll show you now are new... I'm currently 25 yrs old and had gained weight again but not as much before... I'm going back to get back to the gym to lose weight and get in shape and maybe consider surgery...

Would my case be lipo are excision? what do u think guys?

depends on how dense the underneath is, but i would guess excision.
* a man is more than a body will ever tell
* if it screws up your life the same, is there really any such thing as "mild" gyne?

Yeah, personally I guess so... my chest used to be much bigger compared to these  when I was obese... I concentrated so much bench pressing hoping that the fat will just melt away but it did'nt. It looks as if it has been pushed forward...

cobol465,

You should see an endocrinologist and have your hormones checked.

I say this because you do have what I would term a gynecoid body habbitus and very little body hair- worth checking just to be on the safe side.

PM me what city/state you live in (not anything more- I'm not weird) and I will give you the contact details for endocrinologists who are interested in reproductive endocrinology (that best covers gynecomastia) that are in your area/hopefully within a 50/100 mile radius.

Get the hormone's checked, eat better, exercise & then re-evaluate.

I'm going to consult a doctor to have my hormones checked... but guys, i need your honest opinon, if ever I would undergo surgery, do you think my chest would look as it should be? Please view my pics for reference. I fear that even after surgery the gyne will come back.

the best answer might be asking a surgeon for before and after pictures for a case like yours, but it would almost certainly be a significant improvement, you'd lose at least the pointiness.  to minimize chance of coming back, you just want to check and be sure your hormone balance is stable again.

I'm back. I haven't posted for a long time. I've mangaed to lose some weight and I still have gynecomastia but my chest looks smaller and quite similar to a normal pec but just rounder especially under it. Guys tell me that it's good I've got big pecs I must have worked my chest real hard... yeah right. LOL. Anyway, I think I am contented this way, I can be shirtless around guys whithout being conscious on how my chest looks like and I guess the talent Scout looking for an A&F model wouldn't stop by my doorstep after all.  :D

I might have my chests checked. Sometimes I feel a little pain especially on my right chest (it's the one bigger). I might as well post new pics but it's gonna be difficult as I don't have my own cam. The ones I posted above are taken from my cellphone which was snatched later on.

To Spunk,
i haven't consulted with an endo yet, though I talked about it my my former housemate. By that time he was an intern doctor (and now he just passed the board). I was quite shy to talk about it but he was the first to break the ice and he told me straight in the face that I have gynecomastia. Well he said that I can consult a general family medicine doctor but an endo specialist would be good.

SadGyne,
How much does Dr. Herbosa charge for consultations? I hope he's maxicare accredited. I think consultations are covered by MC.
