Alriteeee so i am now offically one day post op and i must say it has been quite the day...First of all the nurses all told me that the surgery was a great success when i woke up which was definitely a nice thing to wake up too. I had to stay for about 2hrs in the recovery room just to make sure i was ok. I did have some nausea after having the IV removed but as soon as that ended i felt like a million bucks. It is somewhat difficult to do things around the house that i wouldve never thought would be challenging to me, but in a few days im sure ill be feeling a lot more mobile! Sleeping on your back can be a bitch if your not used to it but really not the big of a deal. Painwise, I have mild discomfort when walking, but if i am in a sitting position I dont feel any pain at all really. The compression vest definitley feels like its doing it job aha, theres some blood on the left side that had occured as soon as the surgery was over. All in all it wasnt nearly as scary as i thought it would be. I am getting the foam pads removed this friday so come then i will be sure to post my pics
