I am on day 7 of recovery and the insisions are healed.  The stitches are really bothering me tho.  Can i take them out myself???

they will dissolve eventually

why risk making your final results worse?

if theres nething poking out U could cut that away, mine don't bother me at all! Don't get what the big deal is?

  • Had expensive surgery... Now I'm flat busted!
Some stitches don't dissolve, as I understand it.  Those must be removed.  If you are unsure what kind you have, then you should contact your PS's office and let them advise you on what to do.

I'm assuming that you are referring to the suture tails. Yes, those you just snip away as close as possible to the skin.

I'm leaving the tails lol, to give me an idea of when the stitches are dissolving inside.
