is Surgery useful for mild gyne?

I have mild gyne. From many posts, I noticed ppl get scar tissue under nipple after surgery and it doesn't change the way your chest looks like after surgery. i found that many ppl are complaining about scar tissue.

A few questions for the guys who had mild gyne and got it operated:
1) Did u get scar tissue?
2) Did the scar tissue go away in your case? if yes how long it took?


I feel if scar tissue is going to give same protruding appearance to your chest, surgery wouldn't make any difference especially for ppl with mild gyne.

is surgery worth going through especially for ppl with mild gyne?

You will have to post pictures to get a decent response.

If not then describe it, is it a puffy nipple/ fat and gland/just gland/just fat etc?

If you don't feel comfortable without a shirt then I would advise surgery. I you choose your clothing around your chest so it isn't visible then definitely get surgery.

Don't know much about scar tissue though, try searching "scar tissue" to see what you can find

The scarring is completely different for each individual depending on how your body heals. It can also occur on one side and not the other. A decent PS should offer an injection of cortisone to treat internal scar formation if needed. Vitamin E on the incision site is said to help promote healing of the external scar.

scousered45 , am not specifically talking about my case. my question is in general, is it worth going through surgery for ppl with mild gyne considering the realistic expectations about the result? anyway i will be posting my pics soon.

i've got a mild case and have asked myself the same question.  but i think if the ps is a really qualified gyne specialist they can still make it better.  i'll get to test my theory sometime.
