Sore after lipo

Im 9 days post op after just lipo with incisions on my sides. Im still very sore, like the heavy work out soreness but worse. how long can i expect this to last? Second, my swelling I think is starting to go down if not already gone and I'm ready to ask my surgeon WTF I actually paid for. i asked him if my pecs needed to be drained because the results are disappointing to say the least. he looked surprised and said that draining wasn't necessary with just lipo. Is that usually the case?

Just keep in mind that just because the swelling has gone down and there is no more visible bruising doesn't mean that you are all healed up.  Just wait another week or two when the scar tissue starts to develop, then you'll really be freaking out.  My chest looks worse now than it did a week ago and has developed somewhat of a lumpiness to it.  The whole post-op process is very annoying.
