Well, i'm a 15 year old boy i do believe i suffer from gynecomastia.

If i do, i just need you guys to tell me if it's as bad as i think? I know it's noticable, but would it turn heads at the beach?

I work out, and i'm far from fat 5'9 sitting at 139 pounds.

Here's some pictures.

Yes, I can see the elevated nipple.

Do I think it is bad enough to get upset over? No. But the person you are concerned about making happy is not me, it is yourself. I would think that a 15 year old has a lot of things more important than that to worry about.

Your condition is simply too average to warrant great concern on your part. But that is only my opinion and you should feel free to ignore it. Many who post here would be happy with what you have after surgery.

How is it having an impact upon you? That is the real concern.

Its a normal chest in the sense that you dont have breasts, but you have gyne, you obviously have puffy nipples. Your problem lies mostly around a gland issue not fat...A surgery can take care of that quickly.

Well, guys i have a bit of flab around the chest area.  I take it you know how society seems to demand perfection.  I'm not completely flat chested, there are some shirts that i can't wear without being a tad noticeable.  I'm very self conscious about myself and the way i look, i just needed to know if it was as bad as i thought because my mind says it's terrible.  Thats my mind though, often plays a huge role in my self conscious ways.

I appreciate you guys posting and helping me out, i feel a lot better about myself.  I'll still be a bit nervous about taking my shirt off, just because a bit of the extra fat around the breast area.  Although so far my plan is working as planned :P I've been working out, and i've developed a abs (six pack) which draws the attention away from my breasts.

Thanks again guys, i feel much better about myself now.  I just needed to go to a place, where i wasn't going to get reemed out for not being perfect and meeting some people that know my mind set.

Thanks,
Jastic.

Also, out of complete curiosity how much is the surgery i know i'll probable never get it.. Unless it some how got worse, which i doubt it will :P

Does Gyne get worse? Like if it's like it is now, in 5 years will it be worse?  Also since i am still raging with hormones is it possible thats whats causing the extra fat around my chest area?  I'm just a bit curious about some things, thanks in advance! :)

Here's a doc's opinion:

You appear to have a very minor case, due only to glandular tissue, obviously no fat.  At your young age, many plastic surgeons would be hesitant to operate.  Your parents would have to consent, and with it being very minor (maybe not to you), that's a little touchy.  As bad as it sounds, you're probably better off waiting until you're 18 or it gets worse, whichever comes first.

Congrats, BTW, on the 6 pack.  I'm sure that's all the ladies see.   ;)

In my opinion I don't think your condition is bad. The nipples are slightly pronounced but my chest is not as good as yours after surgery. I would say you have got nothing to worry about. Paul

I can see what you're talking about but I wouldn't say its a big deal. Is this what 15 yr old bodies look like nowadays? damn I was lazy.
Hopefully you can wait a few more years and see what happens because of your age right now. I just read on here about younger guys who have the surgery and they end up with concave nipples from it...but I dunno..

good build, but the puffies are obvious enough not to be normal.  it's probably best to be at least 2-3 years further out of puberty before tackling it so as not to run serious risk of recurrence.  sux, but my best advice.
* a man is more than a body will ever tell
* if it screws up your life the same, is there really any such thing as "mild" gyne?

No way.  I think you look great.  Good build, good symmetry in the nipples.  I can't imagine why you would want surgery.
