Does the compression vest shrink nipples down after surgery>?

I just had my surgery 5 days ago, and i was wondering if the vest will shrink my nipples down eventually within the 2 months im required to wear it. I heard it will flatten them down during the healing stage.. my nipples are about 1 .5 inch wide and about 1/2 outwards, and i was wondering do you think it will reduce my nipples. if anyone had the experience or know if it will please get back to me.. i would really be grateful. THanks a bunch
