Stage 2 Compresion Vest

Just a question for all of you who have had the surgery, when did you switch to the Stage 2 compression vest?  I am almost 3 weeks post-op and I am dying to ditch the Stage 1.  I still have some soreness and tenderness in my left chest, but the right feels fine. 

Did you wait until you were completely pain-free?

I took off the bandages etc 1 week after surgery and slipped on the vest.

The pain then was minimal compared to the 1st couple of days.

I woul reccomend that you phone your surgeon and ask him when it is safe to wear the vest.
