I took this with my new Canon PowerShot SX10 IS. It's a panoramic of 3 pics so it isn't perfect in spots...

This is in my back yard but my wife and I call it the cottage. There are a lot of trees and birds and it just has the feeling of being at the cottage... without the hassle of fighting the traffic...

you mean you've never heard of snowblindness?  

i bet he gets to use that a full three or four weeks a year

a time of year also known as mosquito season  

a work to be proud of.  i'd spend a lot of time on that if i'd built it.  and the panoramic stitching is pretty well hidden.

$5000.... My wife, son-in-law and I built the deck...

First time deck builders...  turned out better than I expected actually.  

It took 2 months, on and off (in our spare time) to complete.

I work on presses similar to this one , only bigger... It's a Central Impression Printing Press or... C.I. for short...
