I'm now 10 days post op of my revision surgery, to make my areola smaller and I have just taken the bandages off. Really happy with the size, but as you might guess, like a draw string bag, the skin is gathered and raised around my areola as I had another "donut" excision (on both sides).

My question is, should I don my compression vest again, will it help with this gathering to make it go down flatter? I understand it will over time anyway but it will also help with scaring.

When I asked my surgeon, during the revision surgery, he told me it wouldn't really help, but i want the best possible outcome. Can it do any harm?

And just to let you know, This revision is 6 months after my initial gyncomastia treatment in January.

Thanks :]
