Hi everyone, I haven't posted on here in awhile, but I've been working out hard trying to look my best, with gyne. I've got almost enough money saved for my surgery, but I just wanna wait a bit longer to save some more money and get my weight goals stable.

I've taken an interest in bodybuilding, and have started a cycle of prohormones. The product I'm using is Halotest-25 (http://www.fitflex.com/powerlab-halotest-25-review.html). I've been lifting for almost a year and would like to see the best gains I possibly can, and also gain as much muscle as I can before surgery.

I am currently midway through my second week of the prohormones (the cycle lasts a month). I also have a post cycle supplement (Novedex XT) ready to take, which I will probably begin midway into my fourth week. I've read up on everything, and I have done my research so that I don't screw anything up with my hormone levels.

Just to give everyone my stats/story once again: I am 19 years old, 6'1, about 187-190 lbs - good amount of lean muscle mass. (can post pics later). I used to be much heavier and I barely exercised (used to weight around 210-215 lbs). I developed gyne when I was younger, pretty much around the time started going through puberty. I decided to change my life about 2 years ago and changed my diet and exercise habits. I lost a lot of weight within a period of 6-8 months, I dropped down to 175 lbs just doing cardio and was very thin. Now for the past 10-12 months, I have slowly been trying to pack on muscle which is why I have started the prohormones.

MY question was: even if taking all the necessary precautions like having a Post Cycle Treatment ready after I'm off the cycle, is it possible to grow extra mass on top of the gland I already have? Also, how long after I get off of the prohormone cycle, and the post cycle treatment should I wait to consider surgery and go in for a consult?

I do want to say that first of all, I think that 19 is waaay too young to messing with steroids or prohormones, especially when you have only been working out consistently for a year and are still having good beginners' gains.

The main thing that needs to be elaborated on though is this:  YES, your glandular tissue can and will be prone to growing larger in size.  If you took prohormones/steroids to try to cure your gyne, then you are on the wrong track... messing with hormone levels is the best way to make your gyne worsen.

You should probably wait a couple months to see a doctor, but length of time for HPTA activity to return to normal is something that is going to depend from person to person and there are too many factors to give an exact time frame.  It depends greatly on your post cycle therapy and individual reaction to this particular androgen and the aromitizations in your body.
If the worst health issue you face is only an aesthetic one - remember it is just that. You can fix it with surgery, or hide it, or deal with it. The bottom line - we are all battling something that shouldn't stop us from missing out on life and living how we want to. Everyone should be so lucky!

Before using this stuff you should use your computer to get some REAL information.

Start with a search using the words "Drug Side Effects".  From the choices, make a selection. When your choice comes up, Enter the name of the drug in the box and get a search for the side effects.

If the result of this search does not scare the crap out of you, I give up!

I have done tons of research. These are not hardcore illegal steroids, or they wouldn't be available this easily. I did plenty of research before deciding to get on the prohormones. I know lots of people from first hand experience who have used them as well with VERY minimal side effects. Things like increased acne, but nothing major. As long as you follow the instructions and use a good PCT, I've heard nothing besides praise.

Also, I've heard kids as young as 16 have used this. I understand that I am on the younger side, but my body has already matured at a younger age. I hit over 6' by freshman year of high school and haven't grown since then. I know they say you're body hasn't fully matured by age 22-23, but if my body is going to go through any more changes, they will be extremely minimal.

I didn't really come here to be lectured about the side effects of prohormones, or that I am way too young (all due respect to the two who replied - I appreciate the feedback and would love more), I just wanted to know what kind of side effects it could possibly have on people who have existing gyne. I did not decide to use it to cure my gyne, I already know surgery is the only option and have been saving for an extremely long time. I was just wondering time frames for how long I should wait after I stop use for my hormone levels to stabilize, and if it could make the existing gyne larger.

I really appreciate everyone's feedback.

It is true that many herbals and even some concentrated herbal extracts are relatively tame stuff and there is no reason for taking them off the market.

Unfortunately it is not always true that herbals are all that safe. Keep in mind that Ephedrine, Belladonna, Digitalis, Cocaine, Canabis, Opium, etc. are all Herbals.

The fact that something can be bought "Over the counter" does not make it safe. It takes time for the law to move on these things. It was not all that long ago that people were dying from overdoses of FenFen.

people are so uneducated about steroids,,,,,,, your not going to die taking a cycle of prohormones if its and educated cycle with serm as pct and all neccessary support supps on cycle........... but with that being said you are not taking a educated cycle you need a serm for pct first of all
second of all all oral cycles will have a harsh effect on your kidneys and liver so i hope your takin some kind of support cycle
and at 19 you are way too young to be shutting down your natural test production with such a harsh oral like halotest 25
so when u come off it you might have major shutdown causing a growth in your gyno  and many other sides including lethargy
loss of all gains and mood swings

please search for proper pct protocol and get yourself a serm dont screw yourself up anymore

I actually came off my Post Cycle a few weeks and I feel great. No loss of gains I made, none of the symptoms you described, potter. I did lots of research before I started so I was not uneducated as you say. I did take a liver assist supplement as well the entire time i cycled anything. Overall, I am very happy with the muscle gains I made, and I think after surgery I will look even better. I will probably go for a consult sometime late January most likely.

I'll post pics later so you can see the muscle gains I have made from when I first joined this forum.

This was when I first lost all of the weight and discovered I had gyne, which is also when I joined the forum -- about 2 years ago -- maybe around 175-180 lbs at 6'1 -- not much muscle:

I took these pictures just a few minutes ago. I weigh about 188 lbs, still stand 6'1, much less bodyfat and more muscle:
