I just had surgery and believe I'm starting to accumulate scar tissue. Is this permanent or will it go away after a while? I have been massaging for two weeks now daily. It is rock hard so I know its scar tissue since gland was much softer. Anyway, just wondering if this is permanent.

The body goes through many phases of healing after surgery.  There is always swelling -- and some of the swelling can be unbelievably firm.  And sometimes massage too early in the healing process can actually produce more swelling.

Would strongly recommend you speak to your surgeon and ask his opinion about your healing.  Bear in mind, for many men, the healing process will take 4-6 months or even longer to see the final result.  And it is best to allow for healing before deciding whether anything else need be done.  Frequently, all your worrying will have been for naught.  Patience!!!!
