Patient education such as what to do after surgery is a critical component of successful surgery. Each doctor has his / her own methods. For my patients timing of Gynecomastia Surgery Dressing removal timing is important and varies depending on the individual sculpture. It typically ranges from 6 to 15 days. Gauze support is a different issue. I use gauze for various purposes after surgery and timing for how long it is needed also varies.
