scar tissue

2 weeks ago after my surgery I freaked out because I felt tissue again but apparently my surgeon said it was only scar tissue. I'm a fit guy and it's only noticable when i flex. How long will it be until this tissue goes away and how can I speed up results?

For me it took more than 6 months until I could no longer feel hard, pea-like areas.
