Hi just had surgery 3 days ago. The recovery and procedure went wayyyy smoother than i thought it.

Doctor said i was one of the 5+% that he treated that only required Lipo. So mine is pure fat.

All the stories I see here though are mostly Gyne, so anyone else here had lipo only and are gyne free?

I havnt taken out the bandages yet so i cant see the results
Would love to see before and after photos of those who are pure fat

Your really lucky to have that, I was the complete opposite with all gland and no fat so I didn't get lipo.

Virtually all men have breast tissue as well as fat-- that is the normal condition.  When there is excess tissue on the chest (be it fat, gland or both), it is considered gynecomastia.

As a surgeon, except in a few cases, I cannot tell by feel whether a patient has "all fat" or a mixture.  Those guys who are thin and have solid tissue are the exception (frequently those who have taken anabolic steroids or supplements).

For the majority of my patients, it is precisely because I cannot predict how much gland is present that I always start my procedure by doing lipo.  And in roughly 30-40% of my patients, I get the desired result without doing an excision.  That doesn't mean that all of those had pure fat -- it just means that I was able to remove whatever was there (fat and gland) by the use of my cannula.  And the tissue I remove in this manner does contain both fat and gland tissue.

If I am unable to get a satisfactory contour with the lipo, then I proceed to perform an excision.  It is this decision tree that enables me to limit the incisions in many of my patients.
