Scar care

I'm now 2 months post op and everything looks good except that one scar is a little more vissible than the other. I wonder what is the best way to take care of my scars. I have been using teip until today which my PS told me I could stop using 6 weeks postop. I've seen some different types of silicon lotions that should be good for scar healing but I haven't really seen any topic about this on this page.

Can I stop using teip or should I just change to some other product?
