Hi there guys iam 31 years old from england, I have gynecomastia under both nipples, I've suffered with this since I was 13 yrs old, I've lost a lot of yrs of my life watching other people enjoy them selfs swimming, sunbathing, I constanly worry about my problem, I have to be careful what t-shirts I buy, and I am constantly paranoid, iam sick of people saying I've put weight on or pinching my nipples saying haven't yo got bitch breasts and laughing at me, I've learned to deal with this abit now, but deep down its destroyng my confidence, I have 2 children that I would love to take swimming but I sit on the bench and watch my wife playing and swimming around with my children! Its so upsetting! I think why? Why has this happened to me? I am natually athletic build, but my chest looks a mess, puffy nipples and coned shaped, all I want is to look normal, instead of being paranoid in what people think of me, I went to a private clinic called transform yesterday, they told me what I already knew but when they told me its going to cost 3,000 - 7,000 I felt destroyed, I couldn't afford that kind of money, so I've booked an appointment with my doctor to see if I would be able to have the surgery on the national heath service, is there anyone else out there feeling the way I do? ? Wish me look, thanks daz

Daz, transform are crap mate dont go with them no matter what

You can try the NHS, but dont expect to get surgery because most dont! The price your looking at is £4kish and thats with either of two of the best in england

Alex Karidis - London
Paul Levick - Birmingham

I wish you luck with the NHS, but after a few years on here and seeing maybe 3/4 results that i found satisfactory. Id steer well clear and pay for the best
Surgery With Alex Karidis - 16/05/09 - Completed!

Basically, what he said ^

Average cost would be around £4k, and most private insurances and NHS wont cover it because it's cosmetic surgery. Having said this, if you can prove to your doctor it's causing mental health problems...

Hi daz, after 4 years of searching for a good surgeon from all over asia I finally got mine done at transform in Manchester at Abby pines hospital, my results are perfect, the surgeon is called Gary traynor , he was recommended to me by a friend who also used him and he had the same results. The price cost me 3K and was worth every penny.
