Probably the worst case scenario for most of us doing gynecomastia surgery would involve loss of the nipple or some other problem with skin loss, which might result in significant visible scarring.  I don't know if anyone addressing this forum has had this problem personally. I have not, though I've treated a patient who had partial loss of his nipple after a procedure by another surgeon.  This is a rare complication, which is unlikely to occur with the technique most of us use for routine gynecomastia surgery.

I would guess the most common problem any of us has had would be a contour issue or a problem with skin laxity.
