Hello all,

I'm very new to this forum (this is my first post) and I was wondering if there are any drawbacks to wearing a gynecomastia compression undershirt without undergoing surgery.

I would say that I have a semi-severe case of gynecomastia in both breasts. I have also lost about 70+ pounds recently and I am getting closer to my weight loss goal. I joined this site hoping to get some information off the community since I will be considering plastic surgery to have these moobs removed once I do reach my goal.

So, if you think that wearing compression shirt won't hurt you pre-op or that it may actually help, can you recommend shirts that you have experience with?

Thanks

Nothing at all wrong with this.

As a youth I frequestly wore a rather tight tee shirt under my outer clothes to help conceal my breasts. The stretch fabrics of today did not exist then.

A person today would often wear a compression garment for the same reason.

For some people, a compression garment is all they need to cope with Gynecomastia.

Completely agree with Paa_Paw .... there is absolutely no harm in wearing a snug compression garment.  And for some, this is all that is needed to go on with life and not have surgery.

I do not feel there is any harm using an appropriately fitting compression garment,it will not,of course, help correct the problem in any way.
