Surgeon

I am sure this has been asked before, but...

I am planning on finally having surgery in Sept. I found a surgeon I like, but want to check him out. How do I go about this?

I plan on calling the American Society of Plastic Surgeons to see if they have any complaints on file. Is there anything else I can do to check him out?

So far I have seen 2 surgeons. The 1st I did not like, the second I did. The first quoted me a price of 4 grand, with the surgery happening in a surgical suite in his office building. The 2nd Dr. quoted me almost 6 grand with the surgery happening in a Hospital. I should also mention that the 2nd surgeon is located in a much more affluent area.

Any thoughts?

Who are the surgeons and where are they located? Maybe somebody here is familiar with them.
