Yes- I think there is more pressure then ever for men. I also have read and heard, that women are preferring the lean and mean look as opposed to large and strong/beefy look.

At the same time there is a relaxing of ideal previous female forms - in the past narrowly defined in magazines and movies. The fact women are learning is that no matter your body type, parts, age, there are men who will find them sexual attractive.
