24 hrs post op

I'm doing pretty good.More discomfort than pain. The biggest issues thus far-other than boredom-is getting up out of a chair and reaching. Can I do any damage to the healing by getting myself out of a chair/couch if my wife isn't around to help? I got my follow up visit tomorrow. I'm hoping I get this restrictive vest off. I got deep purple bruising under my armpits. Finding a good sleeping position is hard also. So far its all good however. Just wanted to come on here and vent. Surgery center in Newport RI was excellent. Just sitting here if anybody wants to weigh in!
