A sad day.

One of my Grand-daughters went into labor yesterday at 21 weeks. Her baby boy delivered alive at 13.2 ounces and 10.2 inches survived for less than three hours. Her husband, a Sailor recently returned from deployment, was at her side.

Somehow the problem that brings us together does not seem very important right now.

there's a lot of interesting reading on this subject off the normal beaten path (also i still don't diminish the gyne, some things are not less significant imho for the fact they're slow-acting).  above all keep in mind it's not a fault thing and sometimes things even happen with every resource of "preventability" available for reasons nobody understands.
