I just feel like it's not getting any better...

My left side especially. Please see attached picture. I feel like in person it is much much worse than the picture is actually able to show. Looking down at my chest, I feel a huge hump like I did pre-surgery. Also, when I wear a polo shirt, I can feel the hump and see it in the shirt just as bad as prior to surgery. My surgeon thinks that it may be scar tissue, however he is located in California and I'm in Ohio. He keeps telling me to be patient. What do you guys think? Could scar tissue really make it look this bad? I really feel like the nipple itself is puffy all over again and stretched out far more than it used to be right after surgery. After a steroid injection, is it possible for the nipple to appear less puffy?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for your time

not really...

my surgeon said it wasn't necessary...

question is though - will that truly make a difference?

Im having the same problem, i have had one kenelog injection about 6 weeks ago, dint change 2 much and the doc says he wants me to wait another 6 weeks, i definitly think it is scar tissue, when i massage mine it kinda makes a grinding noise but does not hurt at all. i think its scar tissue because the skin is thicker where the incision was made...... ps after i massage it it goes flat for a lil while, then with time it will bulk out again... this is extremely annoying,  espeacialy because it was my THIRD surgery.
