I had surgery with a  famous gynecomastia specialist  5 days ago.

He did excision and liposuction.
at day 3 post up he removed the bandages for the first time and it looked pretty good and he said it looks great.now, when i don't have the vest on my nipples are puffy as they were pre op( maybe a bit less puffy) and i feel a mass behind both of my nipples... similar to the gland i had before surgery but much harder and fells more dense.

because i had surgery with a gynecomastia specialist i don't think its possible that he just left half of my gland behind...my question is if its possible for scar tissue to form 3-4 days after surgery?

thank you very much!

At this early point, you're just seeing and feeling the normal swelling and "induration" (hardness) that follows the procedure.  Your body is in the very early stages of healing, so there's not really any scar tissue formed yet.  Be patient!
