Puffy Nipple Post Excision and Lipo Surgery

I'd love a doctor's opinion on this... I"m 9-days post op and had to stop wearing compression because my right nipple continues to bleed when I do. My doctor said not to worry and that it'll heal, but he doesn't believe in compression post 7-days.

The top of the nipple areola complex on this side is pink and soft and raised. It is not flat like the right side is (which is healing nicely and NOT bleeding).

Would anyone know if the puffiness of the areola could be related to the bleeding and/or darkness of my nipple? Is it possible it can flatten out like the other one or does it appear that gland has been left behind? I'd hate to be thinking about revision surgery this soon, but my gut is telling me it should be flat like the right side.

Also, (this puffy side was not larger pre-surgery; it was actually my smaller side).

its quite common for one side to be different than the other than as you heal it all evens out,give it time and find something else to occupy your time while you wait
