So I'm a bit over 2 weeks post surgery. My chest is getting very hard, is that normal?

Doesn't sound right. I'd call my doc just to be safe.

Assuming you do not have a fluid or blood collection under the skin, firmness is absolutely normal at this time. I always inform my patients to expect this.  The firmness is a combination of residual swelling and early scar tissue formation.  It will last several months and then soften spontaneously.
