Swelling Question

I had surgery two weeks ago. I've got scabs pretty much from my nipple down, not sure if that is normal, but I can deal with that. Second, my left side is very hard, while my left side is flat. On my left it is very swollen and bruised, I put ice on it the other night and it went away/got softer and now it is bigger than it was before. Is this normal? I'm about to go in for my 2nd post op in a few days, just wondering what I can do to stop it or if it is normal.
