I'm 21 years old and had gyne for almost 10 years before I fixed it with surgery. I was very happy with the result but now (1 month later) I am worried they are giving a hint of coming back. is that possible or am I likely just paranoid?

Yes it can come back, YEARS LATER!

What is going on now is swelling or scare tissue!

After surgery, and I mean ANY surgery it takes TIME to heal and it can take MONTHS to totally heal! You need to be very patient and give your body the time it needs to recover from the hell that it went through to get rid of the unwanted fat and breast tissue!

After putting up with it for ten years, you can be kind to your body and give it the time it needs to recover!

I'm wondering if an elevated serum estradiol could be implicated in continued growth. Probably not common for a young man to have high estradiol. And growth would assume that not all of the breast tissue was removed.

Everyone has breast tissue from the day they are born, and you really wouldn't want ALL of in removed! If it had been totally removed you would have two beer can holders on you chest! You would have two big dimples where you had boobs before! and I don't think you would like that either!
