Scar tissue

Hey y'all

Im 24 years old and I had gynecomastia surgery in April after being affected for about 10 years with the disorder.

I wasn't affected with the large breasts as I see with most guys.  Instead it was more puffy nipples and asymmetry, the nipple on the right being noticably bigger than the left and carrying more gland as well.

So here's my question:  Although it has been 4+ months since the surgery, the one on the left still appears a bit larger than the one on the right.  My doctor tells me this is a result of the presence of 'scar tissue' which will eventually dissapate in 9 months at which point both nipples will be equal in size and flatness.  Has this been the case with anyone here?

Yes I am pleased with the placement of the scars which are near invisible but still I am somewhat shocked and concerned that after the operation my results weren' immediate. Had me some plans to learn how to swim, but guess those are on hold now.
