What size vest should I get?

I will go for what Donut surgestion regarding vest.

I went to TM Lewin to measure my chest.

My chest is 36 and a half.

He said I got 3 chose's.

36 which is tight (worried I won't be able to sleep or breath)

37 is well fitted

38 is slightly loose.

Which would you chose and why?

I was also 'in between' two sizes (cant remember which two sizes exactly), Mr Levick's office suggested to go for the tighter one.

I did go for the recommended vest though, not Donut's suggestion.
