Recovery ?

I am considering this surgery and had a few basic questions.

A. Anyone ever go to Dr. Jacobs in NYC? I heard he's one of the best, and I LIve across the river so very convenient;

B. What is the recovery time? I.e, how much time OUT OF WORK would I need after the surgery?

C. I heard there are wraps and things to wear in the recovery stage - are they visible at all? In other words, I work in an office and wondering there will be any explaining ill have to do..

I haven't had this surgery, however I've been through a total of 8, 3 being back and 2 being total knee replacements! I don't know Dr. Jacobs personally, however, even though I live in Minnesota I won't think twice about going out to NYC to have him do my surgery! I've learned enough to know with what I've been through that he is a good caring surgeon, and would be tops on my list if I were to have this surgery!

As for recovery time, he or the surgeon can best answer that, as each case can vary.

You will be able to conceal some, but I'm not sure how much.
