I've seen a decrease in scar tissue after my surgery which is good. I still hope that it will decrease more and more as time goes since all the surgeons I met didnt want to give me any cortisone injection.

However I've had this red "spot" over my areola since my surgery and I have no idea what it is or if it will go away?

I met with another surgeon (no the one who did my surgery), 2 months post op and he said "it will probably go away". But he didnt tell me what it was or anything.

My surgeon who did the surgery lives abroad (ye I went abroad to get it done cheaper...) and I haven't been able to visit him.

Can anyone give me advice about this?

Not sure, but it looks like a burn scar.  It's possible that the electrocautery tool that cuts away breast tissue got a little close to the underside of the skin.  That can cause thermal injury to the dermis (deeper layer of skin) and it can manifest as a faint scar.  This should go away over time, much as scars on the skin surface fade over time.  Try not to worry.
You should protect that area (and your surgical scars) with a sunblock when you're out in the sun.
