I have golf ball sized very painful lumps behind both nipples. Im 30 years old and 13st and 6ft tall. So im not over weight. How can i stop the pain?

Usually, gynecomastia is painless unless it is in an active stage of growth.  If this situation is recent, then there may be some causes which could be determined by a medical doctor and perhaps stop the condition.  Suggest you consult with an endocrinologist as a first step. Also, look at any specific prescribed or over the counter medications or energy/muscle building supplements you may be taking for potential side effects which might include gynecomastia.
