So I had gynecomastia surgery on May 1st mainly for puffy nipple syndrome (tissue excision and liposuction.) I went with the most well known gynecomastia surgeon in northern CA. Someone who is very skilled at this surgery and is well known on this forum. After surgery everything was flat and perfect but approaching 3 months later my nipples are back to being puffy and prominent again. I know I'm only half way to 6 months but shouldn't there be some improvement. I guess I'm just confused and not sure why there isn't even a little improvement in the nipple laying flatter on the chest.
Any suggestions are appreciated

Even great surgeons aren't perfect every time. There is a little tissue under the nipple area. If it is scar tissue it should respond to some Kenalog injections. If it is a little breast tissue you might need a little revision. Go back to your surgeon. At least you don't have a bad dent or crater that has to be fixed.
