Post surgery armpit pain

I had surgery on June 27th (today is day 4 post op). After waking up from a lying down position, I have a biting pain in my right armpit. Feels like a painful boil. Is this normal because of the tightness of the vest? I havent loosened thev vest since the operation. I cant see any swelling on the armpit in the mirror.

UPDATE: I had this pain until the 6th day post OP where the Dr took off bandages and I went home to take a shower. After taking off the vest, I noticed that it had cut into my skin under the armpit. It was just a matter of a super tight vest aligned improperly (understandable given i was out cold when the dr put it on me). Pain went down to 0 after putting vest back on again in correct position.
