I have never had my milk come in, but from time to time, my breasts have produced colostrum, but not gone further. Has anybody else experienced anything like this?

If it were not for the context of this forum one would never guess that those breasts were not attached to a woman!

They are extremely feminine in appearance if you do not mind me saying.
If the bra fits, wear it.

Milk production is the purpose of breasts so they're doing what they are supposed to do. Have some nursing pads in your bra cups to catch the leak.

Never had that but breasts that matured I’d imagine is natural and honestly quite wonderful to experience. Your breasts are indistinguishable from a woman’s and seem to act just as similar.

I had a lengthy path to gynecomastia and completely misunderstood by the healthcare system. Part of this path involved a pituitary tumor that produced prolactin. My enlarging breasts at the time ( C cup ) one day out of the blue gave me a ‘ let down ‘ sensation. It was intense and felt as if a flood gate had opened in my breasts. I was in public and had on a T shirt and I was mortified to think that I had huge milk spots on my front. Checking, I was dry. The next flood was that of relief. It was happening just as I was starting chemo for the Prolactinoma. I believe there was no progression to lactation due to the drug.
Don’t know much about your situation/health but a hormone panel may be of use to allay any concerns there might be about this event. I have found the occurrence rate of these pituitary tumors is much higher than previously believed. As estrogen goes up so does prolactin. My tumor is gone but I still have a slight elevation in that level. Probably due to a low dose estrogen patch for osteoporosis prophylaxis. I get some odd sensation in my breasts occasionally from the patch, I suspect.

Thank you for the reactions and suggestions.  I agree that good breast health is important and that we carry greater risk because we have breasts.  I undergo the appropriate bloodwork and imaging. Everything fine so far

I have invested in nursing pads, but I only have experienced the occasional drips of colostrum. This after a dedicated period of numerous serious pumping sessions.

As with many of us here, my breasts are comprised of fatty and glandular tissue

I’m in my early 20s and am now beginning to lactate a fair bit. My breaths are completely female and I wear a bra nearly 24/7, but think I should invest in some nursing pads.
