post-op numbness

Hey!  I'm now Post-op day #4 and still have numbess in a 3cm radius around both nipples.  How long does the numbness last?  What are the chances of permanent numbness? Thanks.  Big shout out to Dr. Sullivan in Columbus, Ohio.

Both of my nipples are just about completely numb after glandular excision and lipo.  It has been 7 weeks since my surgery.  The breast area around the nipples is also fairly numb, so I'm probably a pretty extreme case.  Oh well, I'd rather have numb nipples than gyne!

4 months 4 me and I still have some numbness but now it is more isolated in the nipple area. Good luck.

I'm at almost 8 months now...I had some areas (mostly parts of the nipple and surrounding patches) that were totally numb until about 3-4 months post op, now I still have some areas of altered sensation but nowhere is totally numb.  Still, this seems to be (very) slowly resolving.

Give it time.
